GRAMMY Foundation–funded neuroscientist Dr. Bradley W. Vines brings rare cross-disciplinary authority to the science of sound — with C-suite and director-level roles at Wavepaths and NielsenIQ, a record of peer-reviewed research, and a performance career spanning three continents.

He holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from McGill University and an M.B.A. from the University of Oxford, and completed postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and the Center for Mind and Brain at UC Davis. His 26 peer-reviewed publications — spanning neuroplasticity, multisensory music perception, and the epigenetics of music learning — have been funded by the NIH, the GRAMMY Foundation, and the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, and cited over 2,700 times in the academic literature. His work has been featured in The Atlantic, The New York Times, Businessweek, and US News & World Report.

As Chief Science Officer at Wavepaths, he directed the science of music for psychedelic-assisted therapy. He currently serves as Director of Neuroscience at NielsenIQ, leading research on consumer behavior, music in advertising, sonic branding, and brand strategy. He advises organizations on audio branding, neuromarketing, R&D strategy, and music for health.

A baritone saxophonist trained in jazz and Carnatic Indian classical music, Bradley has performed across three continents. He has taught Music Cognition at Berklee College of Music Online, led workshops at the California Jazz Conservatory, and hosted The Neuroscience of Improvisation podcast.
